LEBANON 4 Days - 3 Nights

Day 1


Beirut

Meet & assist at Beirut International airport by our escort. Transfer to the hotel and check in. overnight at the hotel


Day 2

Beirut – Jeita – Byblos- Beirut

Breakfast and departure to visit Beirut, Lebanon's chief city and capital which was given the epithet of bride of the Middle East. You will discover the astonishing Corniche with the Pigeon's Grotto & the renovated downtown. Continue to Jeita. Visit of the grottoes, Lebanon's natural miracle, a striking nine Kilometers labyrinth of galleries on two levels. The lower, river level offers a unique tour by flat-bottom boat past 'weeping willows" and gigantic stone flowers. Equally striking is the upper grotto where monstrous mineral animals crouch in shady corners Proceed to Byblos, the oldest harbor in the world. Visit of the archeological site where around the acropolis you will admire traces of all periods since the Neolithic times. It is a city full of history where the Christian religion is dominating by the crusaders passage and their building of a cathedral in the 12th century. Return to Beirut. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 3


Beirut – Beiteddine – Baalbeck – Beirut
Breakfast then departure to the Chouf. Stop at Deir al Qamar, a typical Lebanese village. Then visit the Beieddine Palace, an eighteen- century Arabian night-type retreat. You will admire graceful arcades, ornate ceilings; rich marble mosaics, tinkling fountains and beautifully paneled rooms. Proceed to Baalbeck located in the heart of the Bekaa plain. The Phoenicians built there the Baal temple glorify the god of the sun . The Romans modified the structure of the Phoenician temple. For three hundred years the temple was under construction and never completely finished. Return to Beirut. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 4

Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and assistance for departure.
