Lebanon 7 Days / 6 Nights

Day 1

Meet and assist at Beirut International Airport by our escort. Transfer to the hotel and check in. overnight.


Day 2


Beirut – Beiteddine- Deir El Kamar – Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of the capital Today's modern city is busy rebuilding after twenty years of war. Situated on the Mediterranean coastline, Beirut climbs from the plain up to the mountains. Visit the National Museum. Enjoy a seaside walk along the Corniche and in the rebuilt Central District….
Continue to the Chouf area. Visit the Beiteddine Palace, Lebanon's very own Alhambra, an 18th -19th century Beiteddine Palace of richly decorated ceilings, colorful marble mosaic, luxurious Turkish baths and Harem suites in a setting of beautifully groomed. On the way back, stop at Deir El Kamar, a traditional Lebanese village with white houses and red-tiled roofs. It was the residence of the governors of Lebanon in the 16th – 18th centuries. Return to Beirut. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 3


Beirut – Tripoli – Cedars – Qasischa – Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel, departure to the north visit of Tripoli, North's major city and tourist site. in Tripoli the sites of historical interest date from the Crusader and ISLAMIC PERIODS. OF MOST INTEREST ARE THE Great Mosque, formerly the Crusader cathedral the port area with its tower of Lions, and the Crusader Castle of St. Gilles Proceed to the Cedars. Since the first days of recorded time, Lebanon is Known as the Land of Cedars, and it is still the emblem decorating its flag. Today, this forest presents a small number of these trees, center-piece grove of 400 cedars, some of which more than 1500 years old. Continue to Qadischa valley, one of the deepest and most beautiful valleys in Lebanon. The word Qadischa comes from Semitic root meaning " Holy" and Wadi Qasischa is the " Holy Valley ". filled with caves and rock shelters inhabited from the 3rd Millennium BC the valley is scattered with cave chapels, hermitages and monasteries cut from rock. return to the hotel in Beirut, overnight.


Day 4


Beirut – Jeita – Harissa – Byblos – Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel, departure for the visit of Jeita grottos, Lebanon's natural miricale, a striking nine kilometers labyrinth of galleries on two levels. Continue to Harissa, the magnificent status of our laby of Lebanon with its cathedral of a Phoenician boat shape, while enjoying the unique and spectacular Jounieh's bay view
Continue to Byblos, visit one of the most ancient port in the world. Byblos will astonish you by its Roman amphitheater sanctuary & fountain castle. Church , and magnificent old souks. Return to Beirut. Overnight at the hotel .


Day 5


Beirut – Baalbeck – Ksara – Anjar- Beirut

Breakfast at the hotel, departure for the visit of Baalbeck. You'll visit the temple complex of Baalbeck, which is made up of Jupiters Temple, Bacchus Temple adjacent to it and a short distance away the Temple of Venus. Continue to Ksara, one of the most famous wineries of the region.you will taste a selection of the best white, rose and red wines ever produced in the Middle East. Continue to Anjar, visit of this Umayyad- period town that was excavated only 40 years ago. Return to Beirut. Overnight at the hotel


Day 6


Beirut – Tyr- Sidon- Echmoun – Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel, departure to the South Phoenician Tyre was queen of the seas, an island city of unprecedented splendor. She grew wealthy from her far-reaching colonies and her industries of purple-dyed textiles. Visit of the triumphal arch, the public baths, and the hippodrome. Visit of Sidon, the largest city in south- Lebanon .visit of the caravanserai, the old souks and sea castle, a fortress built by the Crusaders in the early 13th century on a small island connected to the mainland by a causeway.
On the way back, visit of Echmoun a temple dedicated to the most important god of Sidon and his lover Astarte. This is the most important Phoenician temple ever found and it goes back to the Persian period (6th Century B.C) when Sidon was at its zenith. Return to the hotel in Beirut. Overnight


Day 7

Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport and assistance for departure.
