Beirut – Sidon – Beiteddine-
Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of the capital. Today's
modern city is busy rebuilding after the twenty years of
war. Situated on the Mediterranean coastline, Beirut clims
from the plain up to the mountains. Enjoy a seaside walk
along the cornishe and in the rebuilt Central Distict…
continue to Sidon, the famous Phoenician city. After leaving
the olive groves, you will see the spot where Jonah was
cast up by the whale, the cave-chapel of our lady of the
vigil, the castle of the sea, the Debbane property and the
Audi Soap Museum. Continuation to the Chouf. Visit of the
Beiteddine Palace, an eighteen- century Arabian night's-
type retreat. You will admire graceful arcards, ornate ceilings;
rich marble mosaics, tinkling fountains and beautifully
paneled rooms. Return to Beirut. Overnight at the hotel.

Beirut – Baalebeck – Ksara
– Anjar – Beirut
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit Baalbeck, Lebanon's
greatest Roman treasure counted among the wonders of the
ancient world. You'll visit the temple complex of Baalbeck,
which is made up of Jupitr's Temple, Bacchus Temple adjacent
to it and a short distance away the Temple of Venus. After
the visit, departure to Ksara, one of the most famous wineries
of the region. You will taste a selection of the best white,
rose and red ever produced in the Middle East. Continue
to Anjar, visit of this Umayyad-period town that was excavated
only 40 years ago, return to Beirut, Overnight at the hotel.

Beirut – Byblos – Cedars
– Tripoli
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to do the head off on
a most exciting tour of the city of the most ancient port
in the world called Byblos offering over 6000 years of history
& culture. You will be astonished of the number of superimposed
cultural layers such as Roman amphitheater, sanctuary &
fountain, Crusader castle and Church. Continue to the Cedars.
Since the first days of recorded time, Lebanon is known
as the land of Cedars, and it is still the emblem decorating
its flag. Today, this forest presents, a small number of
these trees, centerpiece grove of 400 cedars, some of which
are more than 1500 years old. Proceed to Tripoli. Checl-
in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Tripoli.

Tripoli – Krak Des Chevaliers-
Aleppo
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Tripoli, North's major
city and tourist site. Proceed to the Cedars. Cross the
borders. Visit of Krak des Chevaliers, the most famous medieval
citadel in the world. It was built to control the gateway
to Syria. It was of great importance to Crusaders. The citadel
has 13 towers many stores, Corridors, tanks and bridges.
It can accommodate 5000 soldiers. Drive to Aleppo. Check
–in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Aleppo.

Aleppo – St Simeon – Palmyra
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour. Visit of the city.
You will see splendid public buildings reminiscent of the
city's days and glory. You will visit Aleppo's citadel,
one of the finest example of medieval Arab military architecture
as well as the city's baths, caravanserais, decorated merchant
houses and counting house. Your tour will take you then
to Aleppo's most beautiful fountain- courtyards El Fardous.
Many of the city's ancient gates and ramparts are still
to be seen while a visit to the museum will disclose artistic
treasures of the north Syrian metropolis. Continue to St
Simeon. Visit the monastery. You will also see what used
to be greatest Christian monument of the 5th century; a
baptistery and a basilica forming the atriums of a Greek
cross. Transfer to Palmyra. Overnight at the hotel in Palmyra.

Palmyra – Damascus
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour to Palmyra, the queen
of the desert capital who once ruled over half of the Roman
Empire. You will see ruined temples, colonnades, palaces
and triumphal spread over a vast area and particularly the
temple of Baal, in an almost perfect state of preservation.
Visit of the museum where you will find things and arms
that belonged once to the glorious roman army. You will
visit also elaborate underground tombs of the south western
necropolis with family statuary groups and many long Palmyrene
and Greek inscription. Drive to Damascus. Overnight at the
hotel in Damascus.

Damascus
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour of the capital in
Damascus, are traces of earlier civilizations dating back
thousands of years. The Saint Paul gate, one of the world's
oldest churches, the Roman ramparts, the Byzantine chapels,
the Great Mosque where the tomb of St. John the Baptist
is venerated, the souks with their traditional shops, all
stimulate the imagination. The Azem Palace is an exquisite
architectural jewel, and the impressive National Museum
contains incalculable riches. Return to the hotel. Overnight
in Damascus.
